You can make money from culture in the right way

Handicrafts and tourism, Nadere Rezaei, deputy of artistic affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Hossein Imani Khoshkho, head of the science and soft technologies and industries park. Creative and a group of officials was opened at the University of Science and Culture.

Mohammad Hossein Imani Khoshkho, head of the National Park of Science and Soft Technologies of Cultural Industries said: Science and Technology and Cultural Industries Park has a unique distinction among the 42 existing science and technology parks compared to other parks in the country due to its cultural and national nature.

He added: Considering the importance of cultural activities at the international level and the high turnover of this sector, special attention should be paid to it. In this regard, several consultations have been conducted. In other countries, culture is considered an important part of the economy and it is possible to make money from culture in the right way, but unfortunately the economy of culture has died in our country. While the music industry in Iran does not have a significant turnover, according to the presented statistics, the turnover of this industry is very impressive at the global level. This situation created an incentive to obtain a cultural park permit. It took us a year to get the permission to set up this park and we have been active for six years. Fortunately, more than 150 companies active in soft cultural industries and human sciences are working in this park.

The head of the National Park of Soft Sciences and Technologies of Cultural Industries said: the financial turnover of these 150 companies is close to 20 thousand billion Tomans. These companies also operate internationally; So that one of these companies, by producing animation in India, has been able to gain a good position in terms of content production in this country. Suggestions have been made in the field of BRICS cooperation and cultural interactions between members. Considering that our country has a relative advantage in the cultural field and an absolute advantage in some fields, we hope that these actions will be successful with the support of the government.
