According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, will address the journalists in a few minutes.
The news media had previously announced that a cease-fire was imminent in Gaza.
