Nouri Ghezeljeh: Dehydration reduced the production of Iranian rice by 4,000 tons

Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh told Mehr reporter about preventive measures in conditions of water tension and not closing the activity of farmers: Previous We said we were fighting drought, but apparently we had to live with these conditions and adapt our lives and products to the drought.

He addressed the production and technologies related to agricultural production and added: “We are looking for varieties that are resistant to dehydration and to be resistant to hot weather and water stress.”

The Minister of Agriculture Jihad emphasized that it takes years for all the agricultural methods to be reformed, and that we are in good shape in terms of technology in our country and the level of access to efficient technologies in our country.

Nouri Ghezeljah called the supply of resources needed for the use of new technologies and technologies in the production of agricultural products and said that this cost is partly slowing the use of new technologies and equipping agricultural land with new irrigation systems and new technologies.

The Minister of Agriculture Jihad also said about the ban on the production of some of the agricultural products that require a lot of water production: All of these are declared and applied in the form of cultivation patterns, one of which is to increase the rate of some agricultural products such as rice, which according to the declared pattern of cultivation is about 6,000 tons of rice production in non -northern provinces. Our emphasis is on domestic production so that we can continue production by adapting to the existing conditions.
