According to Mehr correspondent, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Sadegh Akbari told reporters in the Semnan judiciary on Monday evening about the arrival of the judiciary into the case of the Damghan mine incident and said:

He said that unfortunately, seven people were killed in the incident, five of whom were miners, and two others, as soon as the incident, had been killed before the rescue forces from adjacent mines to rescue the incident, and with their own authority and sacrifice, they were killed in the mine.

Semnan province's chief justice said: Initial reports indicate that the mine has been licensed and has not been able to continue its activity since December last year and has stopped continuing its activity, and today, on the first working day, such a heartbreaking incident occurred.

Akbari further stated that all the bodies of these dead were left out of the mine, stating: The order was ordered to transfer the deaths of the dead to forensic medicine for legal proceedings.

He said that the mine will be closed until further notice.

The head of the Semnan Justice Department said the additional report of the causes and dimensions of the incident will be presented after receiving reports by the Department of Labor inspectors who are present alongside other judicial, executive and relief officials.
