The British ambassador to Tehran was summoned to the Foreign Ministry

According to Mehr News Agency, in response to the repetition of baseless allegations of senior British officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran and accusing Iran of trying to intervene in British internal affairs, British ambassador to Tehran was summoned by Alireza Yousefi, an assistant to the Minister and Western Director General of Europe.

The Western Director General of Europe's State Department summoned the meeting that the biased stance and unnecessary claims of British officials against Iran are contrary to the principles and norms of international law and diplomatic custom and would exacerbate the Iranian nation's mistrust of British policies against Iran and Iran.

Yousefi emphasized the need to revise the British government's non -constructive approaches to the Iranian nation.

The British ambassador said he would transfer the hierarchy to his government.
