Switzerland: We are in contact with the Iranian authorities regarding the suicide of our citizen

According to Mehr News Agency, quoted by Euronews, the suicide of a Swiss citizen in Iran caused communication between the two countries to clarify this issue.

In this regard, he said: The Swiss Embassy in Tehran is communicating with the local authorities regarding the suicide of this Swiss citizen in a prison in Iran. We are contacting and helping the relatives of this citizen.

According to Mehr, previously, the head general Semnan Justice reported the suicide of a Swiss citizen in a prison in Semnan. This citizen was arrested for espionage.
