Planting more than 6,000 trees and seedlings from March 5 by citizens

According to Mehr News Agency, David Gudarzi Deputy Director of Urban and Environment of Tehran Municipality said: In this popular scout so far more than 6,000 trees and seedlings have been planted by dear citizens.

Goodarzi stated that on the occasion of the day of tree planting and natural resources week on Wednesday, March 23, in cooperation with popular and jihadist groups and with the presence of senior officials, more than 6,000 trees will be planted in the selected gardens and the green belt around the city of Tehran. Tehran will be completed a year earlier.

According to Goodarzi, the Green Tree Movement Popular Project, “John Tehran, Green Pouish”, has begun on March 5 this year and will continue with plans made by the end of this year.
