Liberation of railway lands for the implementation of the fourth ring project of Isfahan

According to Mehr reporter, Jabar Ali Zakari, on the sidelines of a meeting with the governor and some managers of Isfahan transportation sector, stated: In the recent trip to Isfahan province, various issues that were on the agenda of the railway were discussed. One of these issues is the participation of the private sector, especially steel companies, to develop the country's rail transport capacity, especially in the bottlenecks located on the east axis to Isfahan.

He added: Good negotiations and interactions with Isfahan Mobarake Steel have been done in this regard and I hope that this project will reach the operational stage in the next year. The cargo handling capacity of this company, which is currently between two and three million tons, should be increased to six million tons and, if possible, to eight million tons.

The CEO of the country's railways also referred to the meeting with the city managers of Isfahan and said: The completion of the fourth ring of the city was an issue that was discussed with the Isfahan municipality. With the coordination of the governor of Isfahan, preparations for the release of the route and a part of the railway lands, the TOD plan of the railway and its adaptation to the city master plan, as well as the approval of the Article Five Commission and the completion of the project were put on the agenda.

In the end, Zakari expressed his hope that with the implementation of this project, the traffic problems of Isfahan city will be reduced.
