America: Oman's negotiations is the first step in measuring Iran's seriousness in diplomacy

According to Mehr News Agency quoting Algeria, Tommy Bruce, a US State Department spokesman, said talks with Iranian officials in Oman will be held on Saturday.
He emphasized: These conversations will be the first step in measuring Iran's seriousness on the path of diplomacy.
“We are looking forward to holding these talks, and we see it as a positive and basic step in understanding whether Iranians are really serious about diplomacy,” Bruce told reporters.
Oman's talks, according to Tehran officials, will be held indirectly and with Oman's mediation.
Continue US Ceasefire efforts in Gaza
In another part of his remarks, Bruce claimed Washington's efforts to realize the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
However, he blamed the Hamas movement as the main culprit of the blocking of humanitarian aid by Israel, claiming that the Palestinian group has violated the ceasefire.
The Zionist regime resumed the bombing of the Gaza Strip last month after refusing to negotiate the second phase of the cease -fire agreement.
Meanwhile, the United States has continued to support projects for ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip. However, Bruce said, America is still trying to stop the war.
He said: Because you don't see anything in the news, it does not mean that efforts to return the ceasefire have been stopped. We are still standing by Israel.
