Iraqchi: We will soon give the appropriate response to Americans' suggestion

According to Mehr News Agency, Iran's deputy foreign minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi, in an exclusive interview with Egypt's Elnil Network, outlined details of recent Iran -Egyptian talks and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries on regional and international issues.

Iran -Egypt's cooperation for regional stability

“Iran and Egypt are two influential countries in West Asia and their cooperation can help reduce regional tensions,” Arakchi said, referring to the importance of his recent trip to Cairo. “We talked about important issues such as Gaza, Yemen and the Red Sea on this trip.”

He also praised Egypt and Qatar's efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, adding: “The Islamic Republic of Iran supports any ceasefire supported by the people of Gaza and is ready to cooperate with the countries of the region to end the war.”

The state of the Red Sea and the regional role of Iran

Responding to a question about the security of the Red Sea, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said: “What happens in the Red Sea is a natural reaction to the crimes of the Zionist regime. “We hope that with the realization of the ceasefire in Gaza, stability will return to the Red Sea.”

He also pointed to Iran's relations with Arab countries, saying: “Iran's policy is based on strengthening relations with neighbors and countries in the region. “Even with diplomatic relations with Egypt, the level of cooperation between the two countries has increased dramatically in recent years.”

Iran's nuclear talks and stance

In another part of the interview, Arakchi pointed to the Iran -US nuclear talks, saying: “We appreciate the role of Oman's mediation and Egypt's support for these negotiations. “Iran has always emphasized the peacefulness of its nuclear program and forbids any nuclear weapons.”

At the same time, he criticized the recent IAEA report, adding: “This report was not fair and we are concerned about politicizing the agency's activities. “However, we are ready to respond to concerns through the conversation.”

The future prospects of Iran -Egyptian relations

“We have met with Egyptian authorities several times in recent months and the level of trust between the two countries has increased,” said the deputy foreign minister of Iran. We hope this trend will be strengthened. “

In the end, he emphasized that Iran continues to adhere to the initiative of the “Middle East -free nuclear weapons” and welcomed cooperation with Egypt in this regard.

The Secretary of State said that the exact time of the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States has not been determined, saying that Oman's monarchy continues to play an active role in regulating and facilitating these negotiations.

Referring to the recent proposal by the United States that we will provide our appropriate response in the coming days, Iraqi said: “This response will be based on the fundamental principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the interests of the Iranian nation.” Subsequently, Oman's Foreign Minister will determine the time and place of the next round of talks.
