Holding a meeting of the Directors of the Iranian and Turkish Foreign Ministry General Managers

According to the Mehr News Agency, the meeting of the Iranian -Turkish Foreign Ministry's general directors, hosted by Mahmoud Heidari, assistant to the Minister and Director General of the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe, was held in Tehran with the participation of Reza Gonai, the Turkish Foreign Minister's Regional Director (Iran -Iraq).

According to IRNA, the latest developments in the political, economic and cultural fields were discussed during the meeting, attended by Hijab Gorlanqic, the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tehran, and discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries at various levels.

Strengthening business, banking, tourism, parliamentary manners, promoting border security, enhancing judicial, consular, scientific, academic and environmental cooperation were among the discussions between the parties.

During the meeting, Heidari thanked the Turkish government for the establishment of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Van and called for accelerating the address of some of the problems that some Iranian nationals in Turkey.
