Iran water polo into 2025 Asian Aquatics Championships semis

TEHRAN – Iran’s men’s water polo team defeated Thailand 21-6 at the 11th Asian Aquatics Championships on Thursday.
Team Melli had defeated China 14-9, Hong Kong 22-10 and Uzbekistan 28-7 in Group A.
Iran will play Japan in the competition’s semifinals on Friday.
The 11th Asian Aquatics Championships take place from Sept. 28 to Oct. 10 in Ahmedabad, India.
