Hadi Habibi, coach and executive director of the World Club Cup in a conversation with Mehr reporter, responded to criticisms of the qualitative level of the World Cup. He said: This is the ninth round of the World Cup and these competitions have been held in succession for five years. If the quality of these competitions was different from other overseas competitions, there were a few reasons behind the scenes, one being that the necessary licenses were issued late.

“Of course, the president of the federation made a lot of effort to hold these competitions, because it is a financial cycle for wrestlers anyway,” he said. Due to the political situation of Iran, we hosted the tournament with the participation of four foreign teams and I thought we had a very good competition.

The coach of the Bank City team said: “While we had technical restrictions, the freestyle wrestling team is on the way to Albania, and the national team coach was not allowed to participate in the tournament. The team that is being ready for the Asian Championships was not allowed to participate in the tournament. One of the conditions was that the domestic teams would not use these wrestlers.

Habibi said: “I don't know why friends do nothing instead of being protesting, and sponsors do not attract these competitions.” The sponsor of the tournament was done by Reza Yazdani, and he did so in light of his relationships. The rest of the friends will also work and recruit the sponsor to hold the freestyle wrestling and wrestling matches. Why don't they take a step instead of protest. The City Bank is now in the wrestling league as a sponsor, and now the Tourism Bank has been added to it and they have to honor it.

He said: “Unfortunately, friends who are always protesting ignore the hard work of a group because they are far away and criticize instead of working.” I don't know what is jealousy or what they are, but they can't see the tournament. Habibi emphasized the lack of payment of the rights and salaries of the wrestlers in the league by the City Bank: These issues are not raised at all. We have another 5 % of our contracts in the Premier League, which we are going to pay by the end of the year, and this has nothing to do with the World Cup.

“This is also the mischief of some people,” he said. The City Bank is the only club that has both good contracts and has made timely payments. So holding the World Club Cup to pay the wrestlers in the league has nothing to do with it, and I think this is still jealousy, short theoretical and evil. I think some friends will change their views and look for sponsor instead of being objected to, and not questioning a team's six -day efforts.

“The tournament was held with all its ups and downs, but unfortunately there were no cooperation and many people were looking to cancel the tournament within the federation,” said the coach of the City Bank.
