Research in the country should be based on community needs and with the aim of solving problems

According to Mehr News Agency, Massoud Medesian on Thursday, March 2, at the 11th meeting of the General Assembly of the Academy of Medical Sciences, said that the government's central strategy in the health system was established in this area and said: “We seek health and justice in this government. We are in the community where treatment is part of. In other words, we seek to maintain the health of the disadvantaged and marginalized, because they must also share their health.

The president said that health is a comprehensive package that relates to the social issues of the people; When someone is unemployed, his health is also in danger.

In this part of his remarks, the doctors referred to the story of a student in the Koi district of Tehran University, saying that the student's murder was also due to poverty and ignorance; When our education cannot teach the conversation, tension and conflict in the community also increase. When people are unable to talk to each other, there is naturally physical conflict.

The President emphasized the need for justice in the field of education: The government must see everyone in the education system.

Doctors pointed to the restriction of government resources for distributing health and health -oriented facilities in the country: We have to prioritize health services and this prioritization should be to cover more people.

The president described the shortage of resources as one of the reasons for the migration of the medical staff and said: “It is true that the medical staff should be honored, but is it possible to solve all the problems with respect.”

Addressing the members of the Academy of Medical Sciences who wanted some health measures, the president said: “Help with existing resources to solve problems and, based on justice, to ensure the health of the most people.” When I was in Tabriz, I was planning and implementing the family physician system with the same health per capita that the government provided us.

“In other provinces, the family physician was implemented badly and was limited to establishing a clinic in every neighborhood and having a physician to visit,” the doctors said. This was not the purpose of the family doctor's plan. In the family physician, we sought to maintain the health of that part of the community that do not exist in statistics and do not see a physician for reasons, such as illiteracy or poverty.

The President emphasized the need to strengthen and correct the path of research in the country, recalling the central slogan of consensus in the fourteenth government, stating that “I believe that if we work together and do scientific and well,” the president emphasized the necessity of strengthening and correcting the research path in the country: Research in the country should be based on the needs of the community with the aim of solving problems. We now have a lot of research centers that do not have much achievement. I urge you dear ones at the Academy of Medical Sciences to help the government. We have to come to a common language and look to solve problems, and professors can help.

Prior to the President's remarks, Alireza Marandi, the head of the Academy of Medical Sciences and a number of members of the academy, presented their views, and the Minister of Health and Medical Education also provided comments on the ministry's plans for government health programs.
