Wind and rain reduced air pollution in Isfahan

According to Mehr reporter, the air quality index of Isfahan metropolis based on the data of 17 active measurement stations in the 24 hours ending at 9 am on Friday, January 28, with an average of 73 AQI is in acceptable (healthy) condition.

According to the data of the online air quality control system of the Environmental Organization (Isfahan region), the air index of this metropolis today at the time of publication of this report at station number 91 Ahmedabad street, 68 25 Aban streets, 69 Elkhebal Square, Zamzam Park and 71 Parvin Street 76 Etsami, 62 Kharazi highway, 74 Faiz and Rodaki streets, 85 Rahnan St., 66 Zainabieh St., 96 Sepahanshahr St. Faiz 155, Kaveh Boulevard 72, Kordabad 83 and Veldan 67 AQI shows acceptable status.

The Friday morning air index of Isfahan city is also clean at Mirza Taher street station with AQI number of 49.

The air quality in Shahinshahr was acceptable with an average of 68, Kashan 71, Qahjavaristan 64 and Khomeinishahr 68. Sajzai Air Pollution Monitoring Station, Mahmood Abad Industrial Town, Kashan University of Medical Sciences, Mobarakeh, Najaf Abad and Zarin Shahr are all located.

The air quality index ranges from 0 to 50 clean air, 51 to 100 healthy air, 101 to 150 unhealthy for sensitive groups, 151 to 200 unhealthy for the public, 201 to 300 very unhealthy and 301 to 500 dangerous.

This index is usually measured for five air pollutants including carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and suspended particles below 2.5 microns (PM2.5). It is recorded daily in air monitoring stations.

Air Quality Index is a measure that measures the concentration of various pollutant compounds in the air such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen compounds, ozone and suspended particles (particles smaller than 10 micrometers and particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers). which has different permissible limits with different units, turns it into a unitless number and displays the state of air pollution.
