Discovery and closure of unauthorized slaughterhouse in Shahriar

According to Mehr correspondent, Hamed Nazar, on Saturday afternoon, told reporters about the identification and seal of an unauthorized slaughterhouse in Shahriar, who was illegally slaughtering the donkey and distributing its meat to some offending barbecues.

The deputy prosecutor of Shahriar stated in the details of the case: “Following the reports of an unauthorized slaughterhouse that was slaughtering a donkey, the matter was on the agenda of the judiciary and in coordination with the relevant agencies, necessary measures were taken.”

He added: During the case, the factors related to the killing and distribution of donkeys were identified, arrested and sent to prison with proper order. The slaughterhouse was also sealed along with several trade unions that had purchased and consumed the meat.

The deputy prosecutor of Shahriar, referring to the detailed follow -up of this issue, said: “The necessary order was issued to the Veterinary Office to collect the carcasses discovered and it has been decided to obtain and apply meat samples to the offending barbecues.”
