Meet Lavrov with Jinping; Beijing's emphasis on strengthening strategic participation with Moscow

China's President Sheikin President hosted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Beijing, stressing his will to strengthen comprehensive and strategic partnership with Moscow, according to Mehr News Agency.

The Chinese president had earlier held a meeting with the Foreign Ministers of the Organization during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's summit.

Lavrov, who has been attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Foreign Ministers meeting in China since July 9, discussed in a conversation with Jinping about the preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin to Beijing.
