Three killed in a five -vehicle crash in Australia

Victorian state police said in a statement Wednesday that two cars, a truck that trapped two small trailers and two smaller trucks, at around 9:50 pm local time on Wednesday, near the city of Armstrong.

The driver of one of the cars and two passengers of one of the trucks, whose identity has not yet been officially identified, died at the scene.

Police said the second car driver was taken to the hospital.

Detectives of the main accident unit are investigating the cause of the accident.

The highway reported that the highway was closed in both directions and that drivers have been told to use a 2 -kilometer deviant route.
