ان Workers died in the mine in southern India

The incident occurred in the Bapatala area of the state, according to the Mehr correspondent. It is said that four of the injured are serious. Most of the victims are from the eastern state of Odisha.

According to reports, the incident occurred when a large portion of the stone was cracking during the mining operation and workers were buried under debris.

About 5 workers were present at the mine during the incident. Rescue teams were stationed to pull the survivors out of the debris. The injured were hospitalized in the local hospital.
