In an interview with Mehr reporter, Mohammad Reza Safdari informed about the encounter and introduction of 5 interventional centers in medical affairs to the judicial system in North Khorasan.
He further added: These centers have been introduced to the judicial system due to their illegal activities, one of them has been sealed and the cases of the other 4 centers are being processed.
He added: There are 3 dental centers and 2 interventional centers in treatment matters in the list of delinquent centers, one of which engages in unauthorized medical activities, such as injecting gels and odors into people, and the other one claims to treat disc and arthritis and perform illegal interventions. They were active in traditional medicine.
The deputy head of treatment of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences emphasized that people should refrain from visiting these unauthorized centers and warned: medical interventions by unqualified people can cause irreparable consequences for citizens' health.
He enumerated some of these irreparable risks and stated: Unsafe injections such as gel and odor can lead to infection, facial deformity and more serious complications, and non-scientific treatment such as massage for disc and arthritis may lead to the deterioration of the patient's condition.
Emphasizing that illegal interventions in traditional medicine can cause poisoning or serious physical injuries, Safdari urged people to refer only to accredited and licensed centers and to inform the University of Medical Sciences or related institutions if they see any unauthorized treatment activities. .
Stating that maintaining public health requires vigilance and cooperation of the people, Safdari emphasized: North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences continuously monitors all covered medical centers and this is done with priority and special attention to maintaining the health of citizens.
