Referring to the great potential of weightlifting in Zanjan province, he added: This province has made maximum use of weightlifting with limited resources, which is reflected in various sectors.

Anoushirvani said that Zanjan province has been able to lead athletes and coaches to the national team camp by taking advantage of its current capacities and continued: Now the worthy athletes of this province are present at the international and national level and Zanjan has contributed a lot to the honors won.

Emphasizing the importance of planning for the future and using the available capacities in the province, the head of the Iran Weightlifting Federation said: Mehdi Karmi and Mrs. Elaha Razzaghi are among the athletes of the province and the national team, and they have a high potential to win medals in the Asian and Olympic competitions.

Anoushirvani continued by emphasizing that the federation will not hesitate to provide any assistance for the weightlifting equipment of the province: on this basis, until the end of this year, it will allocate 10 billion rials for the weightlifting equipment of Zanjan province.

The head of the Iran Weightlifting Federation added: Also, for the next year, another 10 billion rials will be allocated for the promotion of weightlifting programs in Zanjan province, and we hope that the authorities will also be ready to work. Anoshirvani also pointed out the necessity of consulting with officials and representatives to attract more funds and financial support and added: it is necessary for provincial officials to pay attention to weightlifting.

Anoushirvani pointed out: In this regard, the cooperation and consensus of officials and representatives has a significant effect on improving the state of sports in the province, and in this regard, the role of financial sponsors should not be neglected.

Zanjan can host national weightlifting competitions

The General Director of Sports and Youth of Zanjan province said: Weightlifting in the province is in a good state in terms of software. Based on this, we hope to be able to host weightlifting competitions, including national team camps and various national events.

Javad Bazargan, stating that the provincial board is going through a growing trend, added: This happened with the management of the current head of the weightlifting board of the province.

He mentioned the country's weightlifting successes since the beginning of this year and said that these successes indicate very good planning and management in the country's weightlifting field.

This official said that weightlifting is one of the two good federations in terms of having sports infrastructure in most of the country's provinces and continued: the favorable planning in this area has made weightlifting reach its target plans.

Bazargan stated that this province has been able to revive weightlifting after many years, which is due to the presence of coach Zanjani in the technical staff of the national team. is

The general director of youth sports of Zanjan province noted: hosting Zanjan province in various national competitions will help the growing development of this discipline at the province level.

The head of weightlifting board of Zanjan province also mentioned the success of weightlifting athletes of the province and said: Weightlifting Federation of the country has played a significant role in guiding the top weightlifting talents of the province.

Saeed Omedi added: Before this, the weightlifting team of Zanjan did not have a say in the national team, but with the movements that have taken place and the presence of capable coaches in the province, this discipline is on its way to growth.

He stated that the goals of the delegation have been achieved so far and noted that 20 titles including 41 international medals have been won in about a decade from 1995 to this year.
