According to Mehr News Agency, Seyed Abbas Arakchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Fouad Iraqi Foreign Minister Hossein Hussein discussed the latest developments in the region.

In this phone call, the Iranian and Iraqi foreign ministers discussed the latest situation in the area of ​​the Zionist regime's brutal attacks against Gaza and Lebanon on the one hand and the US military invasion of Yemen on the other.

Our Foreign Minister has strongly condemned the genocide of the Zionist regime in Gaza and repeated violations of the US cease-fire and green lights- and the killing of innocent women and children strongly condemned the immediate mobility of the international community, especially the Islamic community.

The Foreign Minister, citing serious dangers over the US use of bases based in regional countries and their air space for aggressive measures against the nations of the region, emphasized the need to take the necessary measures by all countries in the region to protect their national sovereignty and to prevent the use of their territory and other facilities by foreign troops.

Arakchi also pointed to US officials' illegal sanctions against the Iranian oil industry, stating that the allegations and accusations of US officials on pressure on Iran have no basis and credit, and that neighboring and friendly countries are expected to take care of the sedition and divisions between the United States.

Fouad Hussein also expressed his concern over the trend of developments in the region and serious risks to the continuation of aggression against Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, emphasizing the need to consult and cooperate in the region's countries to help reduce the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people and prevent the entire regional peace and stability.
