It has been 21 months since the non-allocation of currency to chemical fertilizer producers

According to the reporter of Mehr, today, Wednesday, January 5, 1403, a press meeting of the producer associations of poisons, fertilizers and biological organic substances was held at the place of the Association of Plant Poisons and Pesticides. Sayad Farhadi, the head of the Chemical Fertilizer Producers Association, stated that the production conditions have become very difficult, and said: The producer must pass 70 Khwan Rostam for production, which is energy-consuming and time-consuming, while in the economic war, the producers are economic soft soldiers. While bypassing the sanctions, they have to fight with internal problems as well.

He added: “Today we are asked to pay the difference in currency that we received two years ago to the Central Bank.” It is required to pay the difference of the currency paid from March 1401 to the end of 1402 with the exchange rate of the middle of this year. This is while the purchased raw materials have become the final product and have been sold at the same rate for years.

He stated: Even if the producer has taken free currency with the current half exchange rate, he has to pay the price difference, the balance will be negative due to the jump in the currency price.

This trade union official stated that if the producer cannot cover the cost of importing his raw materials, the continuous production activity will be disrupted, and said: If such approvals were enforceable, the government would not have to extend it several times. In the last extension, the time limit has been removed because the relevant managers know that the plan is not operational.

The head of the Chemical Fertilizer Producers Association continued: Since April 1, 1402, no currency has been allocated to this group. Also, some productions have changed their level from priority 21 to 22, but because they have not been officially notified, they do not allow their producers to place orders.

In the continuation of his speech, Farhadi addressed the ban on the export of chemical fertilizers and said: The private sector has invested in the production of a product and this expenditure is considered national capital. When it is justified for production and the country to operate with more capacity, why is the export of this product banned?
