US claims: Hamas has recruited 15,000 soldiers since the beginning of the Gaza war

According to Mehr News Agency, two sources in the US Congress who were aware of the contents of an intelligence report told Reuters: Hamas has recruited between 10,000 and 15,000 new forces during the Gaza war.

By publishing this news, The Times of Israel considered this statistic as a sign of Hamas's potential to become a permanent threat against Israel.

The US intelligence report also claims that Hamas has lost approximately the same number of troops during this war.

Sources cited by Reuters have emphasized: Despite the recruitment of this number of forces by Hamas, many of these people are young and lack sufficient military training, and Hamas mainly uses them for simple security purposes and less important tasks.
