UNICEF and Lazarini rang the alarm about Gaza's famine

A UNICEF official said the situation in Gaza is very terrible and that Gaza is facing a severe famine and the situation is getting even more complicated.

“We have evidence that Gaza has crossed the threshold of Gaza and one out of every three people spend days without food,” the official said. We need Gaza drowning in help by opening the crossings.

On the other hand, Filip Lazarini, head of the United Nations Relief and Employment Agency for Palestinian refugees (Anva), criticized humanitarian aid, saying that air aid was more than more expensive than trucks, while carrying only half of aid.

Lazarini said on Friday local time: “If there is a political will to agree to sending air that is very costly, inadequate and inefficient, there must be a similar political will to open road crossings.”

Also, Bassem Naeem, one of the leaders of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, said that the air's aircraft to be humanitarian aid to Gaza residents is dangerous.
