Trump signed the order of implementing customs duties on Mexican and Canadian goods

US President Donald Trump has signed a 5 % customs tariff on Mexico and Canada by signing an executive order, Reuters reported.

Also, a White House official said: The order will include imports of all goods from Canada with a 5 % tariff and energy products at a 5 % tariff.

The White House official added: “The reduction of tariffs on energy imports from Canada has been aimed at reducing the pressure caused by increased costs.”

The new executive will also include a 5 % tariff on all imports from China, the official said.

This tariff is applied in addition to current customs tariffs.
