Arak Municipality's 2 billion riyals budget approved for next year

According to Mehr correspondent, Alireza Mahmoudi at noon on Monday at the open courtyard meeting of the Islamic Council Metropolitan Arak said: The proposed rate of city buses was increased by 5 %, linear taxi fare with a 5 % increase, and hourly taxis with a 5 % increase in the coming year, with 2 votes approved.

Mayor Metropolitan Arak pointed out that the budget of 2 billion riyals of Arak municipality was approved for the next year with two votes in favor, adding: “The budget was approved by the majority of city council members and only one member was absent and four other members agreed.”

Mahmoudi said Arak has been selected as the secretary of the Asian cities in the Committee on Public Participation and Social Responsibility, which is a great honor.

He added: “This secretary has been awarded to Arak among the five Asian nominees.”
