The Taliban introduced their new Consul General in Mashhad

According to Mehr News Agency, the Taliban introduced Nur Mohammad Mutawakl as their new Consul General in Mashhad. He has been appointed as the new Taliban Consul General in Mashhad since the death of the former Consul General.

Mutawakol has previously worked as the head of the Taliban's Defense Ministry's ideology. The legal and diplomatic process for the official arrival of Nour Mohammad Mutawakl has begun in Mashhad and he is set to begin his career as the new Taliban Consul General in the city.

Prior to his appointment, Nur Mohammad Mutawakl is said to have headed the Taliban's Defense Ministry's ideological and cultural department.

Until the official launch of Nur Mohammad Mutawakl, Anwar Ahmad Nabil As a temporary supervisor, he will manage the Taliban's consulate in Mashhad.

Former Taliban Consul General Fayzanullah Nasseri died in Mashhad in late May this year due to heart disease.
