The revolutionary leader's consent to pardon or discount and transform the collective punishment of convicts

On the occasion of the New Year and on the eve of Eid Saeed Fitr and the anniversary of the Islamic Republic, the leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, agreed to the request of the head of the judiciary to pardon or deny and transform the collective punishment of court convicts.

In a letter to the leader of the revolution, Hojjatoleslam Ajei, the head of the judiciary, had called for the pardon or deduction of the punishment of four public and revolutionary courts, the State Terrorism Organization and the Armed Forces Judicial Organization.
