The need to review the development of industrial towns in Khuzestan with the aim of sustainable employment

to report Mehr reporterSeyyed Mohammad Reza Mowalizadeh emphasized the need to study his character as a role model for the young generation in a meeting to review the construction of seven industrial towns, honoring the memory of martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani.

Mowalizadeh further pointed out the problems in the development of industrial towns and said: Some of the industrial towns of the province have suffered problems such as land subsidence and air pollution due to inappropriate location and not considering environmental issues and natural resources. We need a serious pathology to know whether we have acted on the basis of relative advantages and the purpose of the land or not.

He also emphasized that comprehensive development regardless of the advantages of each region leads to numerous problems and added: “Instead of taking the industry away from the water, we are trying to bring water to the industry, which has heavy costs.” We should use the experiences of successful provinces and developed countries so that industrial towns are directed towards specialization and creating incentives for investment.

The governor of Khuzestan stated that the industrial towns should operate in a specialized manner and stated: The production of these towns should be carried out in a chain way in order to achieve the desired results. Our goal is to summarize the problems and suggested solutions, and in the upcoming visit of the president, we will provide solutions to solve the bottlenecks and increase employment capacities in this area.

In the end, he emphasized the importance of stable employment and said: Temporary employment that leads to more problems is not suitable for the province. We need stable employment and we have to deal with the problems of industrial towns with the view of solving problems.
