According to Mehr News Agency, Ali Salehi, Tehran's Public Prosecutor and Revolutionary Prosecutor, visited various parts of a car company on Tuesday, August 6, along with a group of prosecutors and executives. The visit was aimed at supporting production, monitoring the quality of products, evaluating existing capacities, examining the upcoming challenges and protecting public law and preventing crime.

During the visit, the Tehran prosecutor appreciated the executives and staff of the Automotive Group: In order to fulfill the supreme leadership's menus who have named “investment for production” this year, as well as the jurisdictional emphasis on the need for effective support for the production sector, field visits to Tehran.

He emphasized that the main purpose of the visit is to support quality domestic production, adding that the judiciary plays an important role in supporting the employment industries and the Tehran prosecutor's office is pursuing this responsibility seriously. The Tehran prosecutor, referring to the effective coordination of various agencies in removing the barriers, added: During the visit, it was observed that the central bank, customs, the Ministry of Tax, the Department of Taxation, the Department of Labor and other institutions working together to solve the problems of production units. This interstate coordination is a symbol of empathy in the service of the system and the people.

Emphasizing the strategic position of the automotive industry in the livelihoods and welfare of the people, he said: “The car is one of the basic needs of today's life and its quality, safety and price have a direct impact on people's daily lives.” For this reason, the automotive industry is part of public rights and needs to be monitored and supported both in support of production and employment and in order to meet the demands of the people.

The Tehran prosecutor continued: “People complain about why cars are delayed or there are some ambiguities about the payment and final price.” We have come up with these issues in the prosecutor's office and will implement the necessary oversight to protect the rights of the people. Automakers must adhere to their contractual obligations, both in terms of delivery and price.

Salehi, referring to the impact of domestic cars on reducing traffic accidents, added: “Although not all the problems of the car accident, part of it goes back to the quality of the car.” It is necessary to produce safe and quality cars in cooperation with the Standard Organization, Police and Passive Defense Organization.
