According to the vice chairman of the Council, the increase of these fees, especially for the low-income groups, is nothing but imposing a double pressure on those who may not even have settled the fees of the previous year.

The head of the council's financial commission emphasized: Today, our decision is more than a financial decision, with this decision we can strengthen people's trust or lose it, let's show people that we are with them, that we understand their problems and To solve these problems, we are looking for the best solutions, not the easiest ways.

Stating that we are the people's representatives and we should be their voice, he added: How can we put more pressure on the shoulders of the people who are bent under the burden of economic problems? There are families who have problems even for their daily expenses. Will these increases really bring anything other than driving people away from the council and city management? Instead of making decisions that frustrate people, let's think of solutions that take the burden off their shoulders.

While opposing the increase in waste taxes next year, Chegini said: we can think of alternative solutions, such as selling recycled materials to manufacturing companies, attracting investors and using their capacity, training and culture, etc., in exchange for the increase. To provide the needed resources without imposing pressure on the people.

The vice president of the council pointed out: We must not forget that our people need justice and the support of our officials. Any decision that increases our distance with the people is a blow to their trust. Instead of choosing the easiest way, let's look for the best way.
