The imminent trip of “Miqati” to Syria

According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoted by Al-Nashrah, “Ziyad Makari”, Minister of Media of the Government of Lebanon, announced the imminent visit of Prime Minister “Najib Mikati” to Syria.

At the same time, he emphasized that the exact time of this trip has not been determined yet.

In addition, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati announced that he had a telephone conversation with Ahmed al-Shora alias Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, the terrorist leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

Mikati clarified that in this phone call, both parties agreed on the continuation of bilateral communication in line with the interests of Lebanon, Syria and the region.

In addition, Mikati pointed out that by withdrawing from the western part of Lebanon's southern borders, the Zionist regime has withdrawn from one-third of the lands it has entered, and within the remaining 20 days from the implementation phase of the ceasefire, it must also withdraw from the central and eastern parts of the border strip.
