He stated that the livestock and poultry industry of the country has gone through bad days in the past few years, and added: productive livestock were slaughtered due to the removal of preferential currency in 1400, and mother flocks were removed from poultry farms; But due to the capability that we see in the country's livestock and poultry industry, it was able to pass through this difficult situation safely, and today there is a surplus of livestock in the country.

The Deputy Minister of Jihad Agriculture continued: To solve this issue, the Ministry also obliged the Livestock Affairs Support Company to buy whatever surplus cattle are in the hands of the farmers and even the surplus chickens.

The Secretary of the Food Security Coordination Staff stated: This is the beginning and fortunately the plan has been well received.

Fathi continued his speech by referring to the pricing of support purchases and stated: The pricing has been done and if there is a need to have a review, the vice president of planning and economic affairs of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture will do it in order to support livestock farmers.

The currency of meat import does not change

In response to the farmers' complaints about the price of 5 pieces of red meat per kilogram at the rate of 420 thousand tomans, the deputy minister of agricultural jihad stated: The price included in the guaranteed purchase is the floor price. The same pricing has caused the slaughterhouses themselves to take action and buy for supply in distribution networks.

This government official added: Therefore, the slaughterhouses started cooperating with the Livestock Affairs Support Company, and in fact, the support company has given a boost to the market.

Fathi said about the reduction of domestically produced red meat: Fortunately, until the end of the year, the currency required for the import of this product was tracked by Mr. President personally, and there has been no change in it. Until the end of the year, the current trend in the meat market will continue, both in terms of domestic production and imports.
