The goods smuggler in Yasouj was fined 18 billion Rials

According to Mehr news agency, Seyyed Hamzeh Loqmani added: Police officers of the Anti-Smuggling of Goods and Currency Department in the implementation of the inspection plan of the so-called cars shotIn Yasuj-Esfahan transportation axis, they discovered a vehicle and sent the file to be investigated by the government.

Loqmani clarified: The case of smuggling a large number of cigarettes worth 16 billion Rials was handled in the third branch of the Yasouj State Penal Office for dealing with violations of goods and currency smuggling.

He said: According to the documents in the case, the branch determined the imputable violation and in addition to confiscating the discovered cargo, sentenced the violator to pay a fine of 16 billion equivalent to the value of the goods.

Loqmani said: The branch also added 2 billion Rials to the fine and sentenced the offender to pay a fine of 18 billion Rials in total, considering the value of the vehicle.
