The German Land Science Research Center announced on Thursday that an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was shook the Iceland region, according to a Mehr correspondent.
The center of the earthquake was determined at a depth of 2 km, initially at 2.3 degrees North latitude and 0.5 degrees Western longitude.
There has been no report of possible damage so far.
