The activity of the university should be aimed at quality assurance

According to Mehr news agency, Seyyed Ahmadreza Khezri said on Wednesday at the introduction ceremony of the new head of Tabriz University, referring to the emphasis and expectations of the Minister of Science from universities, he said: Universities must adhere to their professional principles and be prominent in the world.

He added: The activity of the university should be in the direction of quality assurance and provide graduates, professors and guaranteed products to the society and be faithful in creating and linking science and practice as before.

He stated that the university should link knowledge to the values ​​of the society and go towards meeting the real needs and using modern technologies such as artificial intelligence. We, the professors, staff and students, should move and do not get stuck on different excuses and do not create obstacles and let free thinking happen.

Adviser to the Minister of Science, stating that we should consider the university as a friend of the country, added: the discourse of the 14th government, that is, “Wefaq”, should be the criterion of action, and students and professors should act as social and political activists, and by keeping each other's dignity, we can take steps based on the discourse. .

Stating that we don't consider anyone superior because of his political orientation, he said: Dr. Nasrullahzadeh, the former president of Tabriz University, was a man of morals, modest, adhering to moral and human values ​​and a hardworking person with the intention of improving the university, and Dr. Alami, the supervisor New University is also a prominent figure in terms of scientific, executive, administrative with a heavy bag of science and knowledge that we should accompany him to improve the status of the university.

Khazari emphasized: Tabriz University is a national and global capital and belongs to the whole world because it takes steps to promote science in a corner of the world.

Stating that Tabriz University is a proud brand for our country, he said: This brand cannot be sold and it should not be dumped at anyone's feet at any cost.

Khazari said: Tabriz University as one of the most important and oldest universities in the country has an important and valuable position, and the training of thousands of valuable, efficient and outstanding scientists is considered an important part of its honors.

Stating that Tabriz University has always been a leader in the practice of social responsibility, he added: “Civilizational impact and movement in the frontiers of knowledge can be seen in this university and it plays a role in movement and flow from the past to the future.”

Adviser to the Minister of Science stated that Tabriz University is one of the fundamental elements that connects the traditional society to the modern one, and continued: This university should not stop at its previous position and complain about what it has.
