Takht Ravanchi's account of Iran-India negotiations in Delhi

According to Mehr news agency, Majid Takht Ravanchi wrote on the X social network on Friday night: “This afternoon in New Delhi, I participated in the 19th Iran-India political consultation meeting. “We discussed bilateral, regional and international issues with Mr. Misri, the Deputy Foreign Minister of India.”
He added: “Economic relations, including Chabahar port, were prominent in the negotiations. “I also had a useful meeting with Mr. Jaishankar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India.”
Takht Ravanchi stated: “The relations between Iran and India are traditional and historical. “They are determined to promote relations in different fields.”
In their 19th bilateral consultations in New Delhi on Friday, representatives of the foreign ministries of Iran and India discussed issues such as bilateral relations, joint development of Chabahar port, ways to strengthen trade and economic cooperation, and possible cooperation in agriculture.
“Majid Takhtrovanchi”, the Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, led the Iranian delegation and “Vikram Masri”, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, led the Indian delegation.
