China: The tariff war has no win; Unilateral actions cause to be isolated

China's official news agency reported that President Shi Jinping said during a meeting with the Spanish Prime Minister that there was no win in the tariff war.

The Chinese president also said that China and Europe should maintain their partnership and commit to “open cooperation.” The two sides must stand against unilateral bullying (US) aimed at protecting their interests and international law. It is the responsibility of China and the European Union to protect international justice and fairness.

Referring to Trump's unilateral action to raise customs tariffs against many countries, Shi Jinping said: Topping against the world means isolating itself.

The Spanish prime minister also said: “We want to develop trade relations with China based on equality and balance.” We are trying to open the Chinese market to Spanish products and goods.

He noted that the development of relations with China will be reflected on the development of Beijing relations with the European Union.
