According to Mehr News Agency, David LemmyOn Thursday night, the British Foreign Minister discussed bilateral issues and regional and international developments, including the nuclear issue, in a phone call with our country's Foreign Minister, Sayed Abbas Arakchi.
While congratulating Nowruz and New Year to our Foreign Minister, he emphasized the commitment of Britain and other European countries to pursue a diplomatic solution to Iran's nuclear issue.
The Foreign Minister, referring to the four rounds of dialogue between the Islamic Republic of Iran's delegations and the three European countries, expressed disappointment by some of the unpopular movements and positions of the European countries and the European Union, including the implementation and continuation of various sanctions against Iran on false pretexts, and demanded that the three European countries' approaches to the West.
Recalling the Islamic Republic's interaction approach on the peaceful nuclear issue of our country, Iraqchi described the direct negotiation of “maximum pressure” and “military threat” as meaningless, while also emphasizing Tehran's readiness to pursue a diplomatic approach.
