EU: Efforts to lift Syria's sanctions are ongoing

EU spokesman Joseph Borll Phone said that efforts are being made to determine the various sectors that will be implemented by the Syrian sanctions mechanism.

He continued that the European Union would increase the level of humanitarian aid provided to Syria.

Joseph Borll reiterated that the European Union is resuming banking and financial exchange with Syria to participate in improving the country's economic conditions.
