Human Rights Meeting held to support victims of torture

A side meeting at the Human Rights Council on the “UN role in clashes in the Middle East, focusing on Palestine and Lebanon” was held on March 5 at the Hall of Human Rights Council, in collaboration with the Khayyam Center to support victims of torture and the Defense Defense Organization.

At this meeting, prominent world professors, including Professor Marco SasouliHonorary Professor of Geneva University, Rana Mustafa, Professor of International Law, University of Egypt, Egypt, Habatollah Najvandi Manesh, Professor of Law at Allameh Tabatabai University – Tehran, Professor Important Shokro GozelHead of the Center for Peace and Reconciliation Studies and Mohammad Safa, Head of the Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims in Lebanon Panel They gave a speech. Speakers criticized the dual standards of international relations and the weakness of international institutions in the face of genocide in Gaza as well as the killing of civilians in Lebanon.
