West Asian cooperation to counter dust storms

The meeting was held at the initiative of the United Nations Economic and Social Committees for Asia and Oceania (ESCAP) and West Asia (Escwa), according to Mehr News Agency.

Sedigheh Torabi, Deputy Director of Human Environment of the Environmental Protection Agency and the head of the Iranian delegation, announced Iran's readiness to cooperate, including the formation of a regional fund, establishing a specialized task force and holding annual meetings of the relevant ministers.
