Kuwait's F-18 fighter jet crashes, kills pilot

Investigation was underway to find out the details and cause of the accident, ministry spokesman Hamad Al-Saqr was quoted as saying by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Xinhua reported.

The F-18 fighter jets serve as the primary combat assets of the Kuwaiti Air Force, which purchased over 30 of these aircraft from the United States following the Gulf War.
