The CEO of Zanjan Regional Electricity Company pointed out the benefits of setting up solar power plants in various sectors, including agriculture, and stated: creating rural cooperatives and sustainable income for farmers, empowering residents of deprived areas, activating experts in villages, creating a culture of clean energy development And the development of mechanized agriculture is one of the side goals of the solar power plant development plan in the agricultural sector.

Burhani clarified: 30 economic and investment groups have entered the issue of building solar power plants, and the total capacity of solar power plants in operation in the departments and government institutions of Zanjan province currently exceeds 450 kilowatts.

He said: In order to reduce investment costs in the construction of solar power plants and facilitate the process of their construction, the creation of specialized solar towns has been placed on the agenda of the government.

The CEO of Zanjan Province Regional Electricity Company continued: Private sector investors in Zanjan Province can build a solar power plant up to three megawatts in the specialized solar town.

Burhani, stating that the standards and strictness of this field should be reduced in order to provide the basis for the growth of this sector, said: The standard of building solar power plants in different lands is different and this issue should be taken into account when issuing permits.
