A media literacy workshop was held in the retreat for Qazvin students

The head of the Women's Center of the Siraj Cyberspace Organization of Qazvin Province said: Cyberspace in today's conditions of the country, which has exposed people to the bombardment of true and false news, doubles the importance of dealing with fake news correctly and accurately.
He continued: By targeting social solidarity, community peace and public trust, these news are aimed at promoting fake narratives about Iran, and the media, which by disappointing the people by showing the black face of the country, encourage them not to try to improve. The situation and distortion of the news are the successes of the country and by repeating these news in various formats and involving emotions, they will spread the publication of these news, they will cause division and disappointment.
He continued: Due to the special spiritual atmosphere, the days of retreat are a very suitable opportunity to explain how to deal with fake news so that people can have a correct redefinition of their habits and behaviors in the virtual space.
In the end, he said: For this purpose, considering that a national campaign against fake news has been launched in the last year in the Cyberspace Literacy Center of the Siraj Cyberspace Organization of the country, on the same basis, the Siraj Organization of Qazvin province also conducts various workshops during the retreat. With fake news for students in the mosques of the province, it was organized by experienced teachers, that this campaign will continue with similar actions during the school year in the schools of the province.
