Mahboubeh Hamarian said: When I think about the 13th celebration, I remembered thirteen years ago, the last time I was allowed to make a movie! That was thirteen years of silence, but it was certainly not giving up. These years have been reminiscent of a lifetime, but at the same time reflect the power that is moving forward. Reminding the rocks that were in front of us, the rocks that could not stop us.

“Many of our documentaries today are not actively working or not allowed to make a film,” he said. I hope we see a day when the filmmaker does not have to choose between sound and camera and survival.

Also, Gholamreza Amirkhani, director of the National Library, said: “The National Library of Hafez and the Written Library is the country's written works and therefore can have a close relationship with documentary cinema. The National Library can help the documentaries in the field of archives and some books. Documentary cinema can be effective not only in the artistic presentation of documentary themes but also in the field of social impact.

Following the ceremony, others were honored with the veteran documentary. Morteza Razaq Karimi and Alireza Hosseini Ara came on stage to celebrate the artist.

After receiving the celebration, he said: “I love documentation very much and it is very important for people to care about the documentary and to release these works.”

Saeed Poursamimi celebrated the documentary for years of trying to say the documentary. Farzad Azaripour, CEO of Hashour and Mohammad Shakibania, came to the stage to celebrate the artist.

Documentary cinema is not good now

He was also honored with the presence of Mohsen Master Ali, Mohammad Jafari, the pioneer documentary. Also, several students of Mohammad Jafari have been staged to surprise the artist for years.

Jafari said after receiving the prize: Documentary cinema is not good at all. Our documentaries do not have a safe margin and have brought themselves to jobs that are not in them. When we go abroad, they say that Iran is a paradise of documentaries because Iran is full of subject and point, but in Iran we do not have much security to make a film. I personally did not even have a documentary frame for the documentary network, not that I didn't want it.

Following the ceremony, the band performed local songs for the audience.
