Bahonar: The government is following Palermo's approval at the Diagnostic Assembly

Mohammad Reza Bahonar, a member of the Expediency Council, told Mehr News Agency about the review of the Palermo bill at the Diagnostic Assembly: “The bill is technically and expertly reviewing and the views of the government, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Affairs and the Islamic Consultative Assembly are important for the members of the Assembly.”
He continued: “Some opponents have questions and technical ambiguities about Iran's joining the convention, which must be answered to be convinced.”
Bahonar emphasized that the Palermo bill is in accordance with the Expediency Council, stating: The government is also pursuing the approval of the bill at the Expediency Council.
In response to some ambiguities in cyberspace, whether the bill will be lifted by the bill? He said the lifting of sanctions is another way, but if the sanctions are lifted, Iran's failure to join these conventions should not be an obstacle to economic exchanges.
“A number of deputies had requested a letter to the Assembly to delay the review of the bill, but the members of the Assembly were not expedient to delay the review,” Bahonar said of the parliament on the Palermo bill.
A member of the Expediency Council continued: Specialized committees have been examined in particular with the presence of experts from these two bills and have agreed to almost all of the Palermo and CFT bills, but need to vote for the majority of the members of the Assembly to implement these bills.
According to Mehr, the review of the Palermo bill and the CFT bill at the first meeting of the Expediency Council was on the agenda and was postponed to the next session due to the prolongation of expert discussions.
