Egyptian Foreign Minister comment on Gaza

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdul Asati said the Gaza Reconstruction Plan provided by Egypt with widespread regional and international support, and Cairo is now trying to host an international conference on the rebuilding of Gaza.
Speaking to more than five foreign ambassadors and representatives of international organizations attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdul Ghafar, he said: “The main purpose of the Gaza Reconstruction Conference is to provide the necessary funds for the implementation of the Egyptian plan, which has been prepared in coordination with the Palestinian Authority.”
Abdul Asati also announced the existence of a new proposal that voted for the UN Security Council to vote international presence in the Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, through the establishment of international peace guard or international protection forces at specific costs and responsibilities.
He emphasized that the proposal would be presented within the framework of a specific program when the ultimate goal is to form an independent Palestinian state based on Dodge's solution.
He added that the success of the project requires a strong international commitment not only in the field of financing, but also the implementation of pressure to consolidate the ceasefire and ensure that conflicts in the region are not repeated.
Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdul Ghafar also offered a proposal to revive the Gaza Health sector, referring to the disruption of the health sector in Gaza, saying that more than 5 % of Gaza's health centers have been out of service and the area is facing a severe shortage of medical services.
