According to this media, this matter was announced by the Russian company Oboronlogistika, the owner of this ship.

The company issued a statement to the Sputnik news agency and informed that 3 explosions occurred on the right side of “Ursa Major” which caused it to sink.

The Russian ship “Ursa Major” sank in the Mediterranean Sea after its engine room exploded.

12 crew members were rescued and 2 are still missing.

Meanwhile, the Russian Embassy in Spain made a statement yesterday Tuesday regarding the follow-up of the situation of the sunken cargo ship “Ursa Major”.

The Russian embassy in Spain issued a statement in this regard and announced that the embassy is following up on the situation of the sunken cargo ship “Ursa Major” and is in constant contact with the Spanish authorities in this regard.
